Took it easy today and stopped in Kalispell. We are off the AC route for the next 90 miles and not sure of services, but know of a campground in another 45 miles, too far for today.
As we pulled into the campground last night, another touring couple pulled in minutes behind us from the same direction, and we thought to ourselves "our new Dave and Carole!". Alas, after a brief chat, they camped way off in the bushes, even though we camped "where all the cyclists usually hang out". We may as well face it: there's no replacing Carole and Dave (who are loving Idaho)! Oh and by the way, if any of their friends and/or relatives are reading this, be weary of any "souvenier rocks" Carole may give you. Rumor has it they are forgeries from the wrong states!
