Todays motto " One less hill closer to Kamsas". As we rolled out of Eminence this AM it was so humid the roads were sweating. At 6 miles we stopped at AlleySpring pumping out over 80 million gal of turquois H2O per day. There are hundreds of springs in the Ozarks responsible for the cool, clear rivers we've been bathing in.
The climbing continued to Summerville where a stiff headwind battled us the rest way into Houston. Met another east bounder today, Eddie from Colorado - supported by his wife Bobbie [ close behnid in the camper]. We look forward to these encounters getting more frequent as the days progress.
You guys must be having a fantastic time. Love all the pictures -- that water does look inviting!!
