We chose wisely. It has been raining steady for 24 hours now. Life is good here at the Econolodge. Laundry is done, gear dried out, bike chain cleaned and lubed. Watching John Wayne movies and writing postcards to celebrate the fourth.
Rain is forecast to let up by midday tomorrow, but with the threat of T-storms to linger through the week. We hope to be back on the road after a late breakfast!
